After dealing with a sudden life-threatening stroke, normal everyday life stopped being an option for me. With the support of others, I was able to address some of the challenges and loose ends that had suddenly arisen – but not everyone has that opportunity.
I want to give individuals who have had their normal life shaken by such events an opportunity to speak out and gain support – to take care of their Unfinished Business.
That’s why I started this organization: to be a hub of connection for survivors of Acquired and Traumatic Brain Injury during their peak income earning years (30-60), helping them access the resources they need to move forward.
To be a hub of connection to resources, both consultative and financial, for survivors of Acquired and Traumatic Brain Injury during peak income earning ages (30-60), helping them address non-medical challenges and complete their unfinished business.
Gifts and awards from funds generated will directly assist younger (30-60) survivors with non-medical needs, or provide post-secondary education scholarships to children of survivors, ensuring a parent's disruption of life doesn't impact their child's future.

Navigating Social Security Disability Insurance approval can be overwhelming. We connect survivors with legal professionals who specialize in SSDI claims and appeals, increasing the chances of approval.
Sudden income loss requires careful financial restructuring. We provide access to professional financial advisors who understand the unique challenges brain injury survivors face.
Many survivors need home modifications for safety and accessibility. We help fund and coordinate improvements like ramps, grab bars, widened doorways, and other essential modifications.
A parent's brain injury shouldn't derail their child's education. We provide post-secondary education scholarships to children of survivors, helping them pursue their dreams despite family hardship.
Unfinished Business is a 501(c)(3), tax-exempt charitable organization where all involved are unpaid volunteers. This means every dollar donated goes directly toward helping survivors and their families.
