What is Unfinished Business?
After dealing with a sudden life-threatening stroke, normal everyday life stopped being an option for me. With the support of others, I was able to address some of the challenges/loose ends that had suddenly arisen - but not everyone has that opportunity. I want to give individuals who have had their normal life shaken by such events an opportunity to speak out and gain support - to take care of their Unfinished Business.
We want to be a hub of connection to resources, consultative and financial, for survivors of Acquired (stroke) and/or Traumatic Brain Injury (ABI/TBI) during peak income earning ages (30 – 60 years). Examples include but are not limited to Legal and financial advisors, mental health counseling and support services, home care/improvement services, as well as provide funds to assist in covering costs of said services and providing post-secondary education scholarship funds to children of survivors.
Unfinished Business is a 501(C)3, tax exempt, charitable organization where all involved are unpaid volunteers.
Support Individuals.
Give people an opportunity to take care of their unfinished business.
